3D Mouse Ring - The Next Generation Mouse

Mycestro™ is a 3D mouse that fits on the index finger and allows you to control your computer with hand gestures and mouse functions.

The 3D mouse has an internal battery that can be charged via USB, with an estimated battery life of around eight hours. Mycestro is currently raising funds on Kickstarter, where you can get your hands on a white device for a pledge of $79 or your choice of cyan, magenta, yellow or black for $99.

How does the 3D Mouse Ring work?

- Mycestro is a 3-D mouse, which means it has the ability to track hand motion in 3-D space.
- Mycestro is activated by your thumb. When you’re not touching the Mycestro, the cursor and cursor function pause until you begin to use it again.
- The touch-sensitive panel initiates cursor movement. To use the Mycestro, simply touch anywhere on the panel. You can control the cursor position by moving your hand in the direction you want it to go. To make selections, release the touch panel and then tap it again on the left, middle or right button section.
- Range: Mycestro has a range of up to 30 feet.
- Wireless: Mycestro incorporates Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy Protocol, making it compatible with Bluetooth Smart Ready devices like iPad®3 and newer iPad Mini, iPhone® 4S and newer, iPod Touch Gen5, Apple® MacBook® Air, Mac® mini and MacBook Pro, and any PC with a compatible BLE dongle. Android devices should be available by the end of the year.

Doodles Come To Life With 3Doodler

A 3D printer for $75 sounds surreal but with 3Doodler it became reality. The pen uses ABS plastic, the same material found in many 3D printers. You can start free-form drawing in the air or draw on surfaces to create flat objects for stacking and connecting. The Kickstarter project already reached more than $450,000 and is still online for 32 more days!

3Doodler is the brainchild of Peter Dilworth and Max Bogue, co-founders of WobbleWorks LLC. The 3Doodler, the world’s first 3D printing pen.

The advent of 3D printing introduced the convenience of quickly making designs a reality, and one company is bringing this creative ease to your fingertips. 3Doodler, dubbed the "world's first 3D printing pen," lets you draw three-dimensional structures in midair. Toy and robotics company WobbleWorks created the pen to make 3D printing affordable and accessible. While most 3D printers can cost you thousands of dollars, 3Doodler is available for preorder on Kickstarter for $75.

How it works

Everyone knows how to use a pen, so we designed a 3D printing pen! If you can scribble, trace or wave a finger in the air you can use a 3Doodler. As you draw, plastic comes out of the pen, is cooled by an integrated fan, and solidifies right in front of you. You can draw on any surface and lift it up into the air to create your own 3D objects. 3Doodler is nearing production now. We’ll be posting how to videos and explanations ahead of delivery so that you can 3Doodle like a pro. Source

ZOOKA - Wireless Speaker for your iPad, iPhone & Mac

From the Portland, Oregon-based design studio New, comes a portable Bluetooth speaker solution for computers, laptops, tablets, and even smartphones. The Zooka speaker is made of durable silicone and produces sound that is five times the volume of built-in speakers of the previously mentioned devices.

Currently the firm is raising funds via Kickstarter in order to launch the product. Although the project has more than surpassed the fundraising goal, there is more time left to kick in some extra funds before the March 19th deadline.
